The airport is situated just outside Southampton city centre. It is on the interchange of the M3 and M27. Passengers should exit at junction 5 of the M27. The airport is also easily reached via the A34 from Oxford and Newbury. The motorways leading to the airport clearly indicate the route to be taken.

The U1C bus service operates between Southampton Airport, Southamptoin University and the city centre. It runs every 15 minutes during the week and every 20 minutes at weekends and public holidays.
