Accommodation at Lower Treave Caravan & Camping Park
Lower Treave is a family-run camping and touring caravan site at the heart of the Lands End Peninsula amidst some of the most spectacular scenery in Cornwall. Only 2 miles from both the airfield and the Blue Flag beach of Sennen Cove, hills behind the site give panoramic views to the sea on three sides and the chance to see some of the best sunsets in England. The site covers 5 acres and has been landscaped to provide spacious touring pitches on terraced levels, each with views across the surrounding countryside. Electric hook-ups are available for touring units and a modern toilet block provides all the usual facilities, with free hot showers. There is a laundrette on-site and a small shop stocks daily requirements. The site has wi-fi internet access free to all guests and an internet facility at nominal charge. Additionally, five individually sited holiday caravans are available for private hire. Each caravan will normally accommodate up to 4 persons and the units are all modern and self-contained, each having its own shower and toilet facilities, full size cooker, refrigerator, microwave oven, television and heating. Revalidation Flying Training
Simply send us your flying details with any specific requirements and we will devise a personalised training schedule to enable you to revalidate your PPL. We generally find five hours will see you back in the air with renewed confidence. You will cover such areas as navigation, basic handling (stalls and PFL’s, IMC, circuits), emergency procedures. Five hours ground tuition with our resident instructors will ensure that you are fully prepared for all flights and all documentation is complete. On completion of your training our resident on site examiner will be available for flight assessment.

Taster Flying Training
Whether you want to sample flying in a light aircraft for the first time, try your hand at something new or are keen to get started along the road to your PPL, our taster weekend will provide you with 5 hours flying, enabling you to really get a feel for what’s involved. You will begin with general handling, introducing straight and level flight, climbing and descending, turning and slow flight. Ground school and pre flight briefings help you get to grips with the theory behind the practice and any materials required can be purchased direct from the club.

Extra Activities
Take full advantage of the fantastic adventure opportunities offered in the near vicinity and let us arrange an afternoons surfing or rock climbing with a local adventure sports organisation. Throughout the season, regular social events organised by the aero club including barbecues, pub quiz evenings etc… enable you to meet other students and club members and exchange aviation stories.
