Cornwall really is a beautiful part of the world isn't it? I've always thought so. But recently BBC Cornwall was given the chance to take to the skies in a Cessna F172 over west Penwith to experience the magic of the county.
Taking to the sky in a Cessna is an exhilarating experience. The combination of engine fuel and fresh clean sea breeze billows in through the window whilst the pilots voice can be heard through my headphones pointing out the landmarks during the flight.
Now it might not be for the faint hearted, but for me, flying over a place as beautiful as Cornwall is a magical experience. It's certainly the closest you'll get to heaven.
