Helicopters will fly between Land’s End and St Mary’s airports on Monday 21st May

The Isles of Scilly Steamship Group has confirmed that its brand new AW169 helicopter will fly between Land’s End and St Mary’s airports on Monday, 21st May.

Anyone due to fly is asked to proceed with the travel arrangements they have made and present themselves at Land’s End and St Mary’s Airports as planned.

Discussions with the relevant authorities will continue, but these will not affect the helicopter’s flights on Monday, the company said.

Steamship Company Chairman Andrew May added: “I would like to thank everyone on our first flights for their patience and understanding and I am sorry they were subjected to unnecessary uncertainty, which was for reasons that were outside our control. We very much look forward to welcoming them on Monday.”
