We regret to inform you that due to the current weather conditions, the Gry Maritha has been unable to make its scheduled departure from Penzance today (03/02/2017).
The crew will be constantly monitoring the weather and sea conditions and will continue to do so to find the nearest opportunity to depart for St Mary’s, either through the night or early tomorrow morning.
With the uncertainty of the Gry’s arrival time into St Mary’s, there is a strong possibility that we will miss the scheduled departure of the Lyonesse Lady tomorrow morning. If this is the case, off island freight will unfortunately need to be stored on St Mary’s quay until the Lyonesse’s next departure on Monday 6th February.
Should the ship depart through the night, Pete Hicks of the Lyonesse Lady will send out his regular text notifications first thing in the morning with his ETA to the off island quays.
The Company would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your understanding and we apologise for the lateness of this communication; which has been hampered by the unexpected failure of the weather to improve sufficiently for us to set sail as we had hoped.
For all freight queries and updates please direct your enquiries to:
