Mali Rose update 18/04/19

Mali Rose Update, 18th April at 16:05- The Mali Rose has departed Penzance and is on her way to Scilly.

Following on from the Isles of Scilly Steamship Group’s Mali Rose customer notice, I can now inform you that the new part has been delivered and our engineers are on-board fitting the piece.

 As per the updated schedule yesterday, we are aiming to sail later today at approx 16:00hrs and we will continue to update you as the situation unfolds.

 Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and be assured that we are doing everything we can to get the ship back into service.

Mali Rose Update

*Mali Rose Update- 17th April @ 19:30**
 
Following on from the Isles of Scilly Steamship Group’s Mali Rose customer notice, I can now inform you that a part has been sourced, which is being couriered down and replaced tomorrow.
 
If the solution is resolved by our engineers then we anticipate that the Mali will sail tomorrow afternoon.
 
We will continue to update you as the situation unfolds.

Customer Notification: Mali Rose, Cancelled Sailing – Wednesday 17th April 2019

 Due to a mechanical failure with the satellite compass on the Mali Rose, todays sailing will be cancelled. At this time of writing we do not have any further information to report and will provide updates as the situation unfolds. If the issue is resolved by tomorrow afternoon, Thursday 18th April, the freight schedule for the rest of the week will be as follows: Wednesday 17th April: We will continue to load freight today and Thursday.  Thursday 18th April: The Mali will aim to depart Penzance at approx. 16:00hrs, arriving into Scilly at around 20:00hrs  Friday 19th April: Discharging goods will start from 05:00am, departing Isles of Scilly at around 09:00am, arriving into Penzance at around 16:00hrs Our teams are doing their very best to manage the problem and get the operation back to scheduled service, as safely as possible. Mali Rose update- Scheduled timetable for week commencing 16th April

Please see below for this weeks planned schedule for the Mali Rose Monday 15th April: Loading of freight in Penzance, departing approx. at 1am Tuesday morning.  Tuesday 16th April: Discharging St. Mary’s between 05:30- 07:00 and again in the afternoon after the Scillonian has disembarked passengers Wednesday 17th April: Loading of freight in Penzance, departing 14:30 Thursday  18th April: Freight will be discharged on St. Marys at 05:40. Customer Notice: Scillonian III Update- 16th April 2019 scheduled sailing

The Scillonian III is anticipated to sail as per scheduled sailing on Tuesday 16th April if the predicted weather forecast doesn’t change. Monday 15th April- Scillonian III- Cancelled Sailing

Due to the predicted weather forecast for Monday 15th April, Monday’s Scillonian sailing has now been cancelled. If travel plans have not already been altered following yesterday’s customer notification, passengers booked to travel on Monday’s sailing have been automatically transferred to Tuesday 16th April. For those passengers transferring to Tuesday’s sailing, please see the following times: Departing Penzance at 08:45 (check-in closes 08:15) Departing St Mary’s at 16:30 (check-in closes 16:00) If you have any questions please call our Travel Centre on 01736 334220 (option 1). St. Mary’s Travel Centre: New Opening Times

From 18th March 2019 our St. Mary’s Travel Centre will close just before check-in opens for Scillonian III.  For 16:30 sailings the office will be open from 8am to 3pm. Opening times will vary on dates where we have special sailings, where the office will close 90 minutes before the Scillonian’s scheduled departure time.
