We’d like to inform passengers travelling on Scillonian III from Monday 22nd June to Monday 29th June of temporary road closures in Penzance due to the Golowan Festival.
Access to our departure/arrival point at Penzance Quay remains open via Ross Bridge, but please be aware of the following.
Road closure: The road in front of the Jubilee Pool (behind The Dolphin Tavern) will be blocked.
Coach access: Coaches will be required to drive to the end of the closure and reverse back along the quay to depart.
Car access: Cars will be required to depart back across Ross Bridge.
Turning restrictions: Please be advised that the road network behind the Weighbridge has recently changed with a one-way system now implemented.
Park and ride: Passengers using the park and ride service for return sailings may wish to approach via the A30 and Tesco roundabout before heading towards the town centre and following the Scillonian ferry signs towards the quay and promenade. A suggested route is shown on the map below.
Please note that the map is intended as a guide only. We recommend allowing extra time for your journey and following any temporary signage or directions from traffic marshals in the area.
