What travel documents you need to check-in and board your flight

To check in and board your flight, you’ll need to show:

Your booking confirmation or e-ticket

A valid form of photo ID that matches the name on your booking

Accepted forms of ID

We accept the following original documents (no photocopies or images):

  • A valid passport
  • A valid UK driving licence (full or provisional)
  • A valid EU national identity card
  • A valid armed forces ID or HM Armed Forces Veteran card
  • A valid UK CitizenCard

Please make sure you bring the original version of your ID with you on the day of travel.

Travelling with children?

Children under 16 don’t need to show ID. However, the adult they’re travelling with must bring their own photo ID and be able to confirm the child’s identity when asked.
