GRY MARITHA – Delayed Sailing Saturday 13th 2018

Due to the current forecast of gale to severe gale force winds with a large associated swell, the Gry Maritha will depart Penzance quay at a later time today. We will aim to depart Penzance at 18:00hrs tonight arriving in St. Mary’s around midnight. The Gry will then look to depart the islands on Sunday morning. GRY MARITHA – Delayed Sailing time on Friday 12th October 2018

Due to the current forecast of gale to severe gale force winds with a large associated swell, the Gry Maritha will be unable to make its scheduled departure from Penzance Harbour on Friday 12th October. The Master has been monitoring the sea conditions and will continue to do so to ensure safe passage for the Vessel, his crew and the goods onboard. The ship will aim to depart Penzance early Saturday morning (13th) and will reach St. Mary’s harbour at approximately 15.30pm. She will carry out a full discharge and backload as required, returning to Lighthouse Pier in Penzance; where she will discharge all returns on Sunday morning. Due to the full afternoon discharge on Saturday 13th October, your perishable goods may be delivered Saturday evening or Sunday (14th) morning. In this case, you will be contacted by the necessary parties. Scillonian III cancelled sailings: Friday 12th October & Saturday 13th 2018 October

Due to the current forecast of gale to severe gale force winds with a large associated swell, the Scillonian sailings on Friday 12th October and Saturday 13th October have been cancelled. Passengers booked to travel on Scillonian on Friday and Saturday will be automatically transferred to an additional sailing on Thursday 11th October as follows: Departing Penzance at 11:15 (check-in closes 10:45) Departing St Mary’s at 14:45 (check-in closes 14:15) Please note: We will not be accepting day trip passengers on the additional sailing on Thursday 11th October due to a quick turnaround. Passengers originally booked to travel on the Scillonian III on Friday 12th or Saturday 13th October may change to an alternative sailing free of charge and where space allows. Alternatively you may cancel your journey with a full refund of the fare paid. For passenger enquires please call the Travel Centre on 01736 334220 (option 1). Skybus weather advisory – Friday 12th October & Saturday 13th October 2018

The weather forecast for Friday 12th and Saturday the 13th October is indicating the likelihood of very strong to gale force gusty winds at St Mary’s, Land’s End and Newquay, which may cause disruption to Skybus flights. Although no flights have been cancelled at this time, any passengers booked to travel with Skybus on Friday or Saturday may transfer to a flight on a different date free of charge where space allows. Saturday 6th October 2018 Scillonian III Sailing Cancelled

Due to the current forecast for Saturday 6th October, the Scillonian III sailing has been cancelled. All passengers booked to travel on Saturday will be automatically transferred to an additional sailing on Sunday 7th October as follows: Departing Penzance at 09:15 (check-in closes 08:45) Departing St Mary’s at 12:45 (check-in closes 12:15) Please note that the additional sailing on Sunday will not be suitable for day trip passengers due to a quick turnaround. Passengers originally booked to travel on Scillonian III on Saturday may change to an alternative sailing free of charge where space allows or cancel their journey with a full refund of the fare paid. The weather forecast for Saturday 6th October is indicating the likelihood of very strong and gusty North or North Easterly winds at St Mary’s, which may cause disruption to Skybus flights. Although no flights have been cancelled at this time, any passengers booked to travel with Skybus on Saturday may transfer to a flight on a different date free of charge where space allows. Customer reminder: Gry Maritha & Lyonesse Lady out of service

CUSTOMER REMINDER Last week of the Gry Maritha & Lyonesse Lady in Service Gry Maritha  Scheduled maintenance, Monday 15th October 2018– Sunday 28th October 2018 The SCIII will only be carrying essential chilled and perishable goods only during the above period. There will be no freezer facilities onboard, so we ask that you stock up on frozen, chilled and large bulky items prior to the vessel going out of service for scheduled maintenance at the end of next week. We will be offering chilled facilities for all sailings during this period (the SCIII will be sailing Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays). Due to limited chiller capacity on the SCIII, we ask that you order the necessity each week, spreading your deliveries evenly over the sailings to ensure that all customers have the opportunity to receive their goods. Please note: There will be no off-island delivery on Saturday 27th October due to tides, unless you are able to arrange and confirm pick up of said goods from St. Mary’s Quay. For those wishing to ship dangerous goods we advise that you stock up next week as the SCIII can carry limited & minimal dangerous goods (petrol or gas) only. Please be advised that if your goods are not booked in, you may find them refused if we are unable to carry or store in our warehouse. If you were intending to ship large, bulky or heavy items during the maintenance period, we will do our best to assist you and we recommend that you call our offices as soon as possible, to discuss the best options for your needs. …………………………………………  Lyonesse Lady  Planned Maintenance, Tuesday 16th October 2018 - Sunday 28th October 2018 During this time, the off-islands will be serviced by the Swift Lady and we will therefore only be able to carry essential perishables. There will be no Swift Lady service on Saturday 27th October due to tides, any items brought over on the SCIII will need to be picked up from St. Mary’s Quay upon discharge of the SCIII. Please note: There will be no Dangerous Goods delivered to off- islands during this period. We recommend that you stock up on these items leading to the vessels lay-up. If you were intending to ship large or heavy goods during the maintenance period, we will do our best to assist you either prior to or after the Lyonesse Lady is out of service at the end of next week. Scillonian III update – Saturday 22nd September 2018

Due to forecast weather and sea conditions for Saturday 22nd September, the Scillonian III will now operate a revised schedule as follows: Departing Penzance at 10:30 Check-in will be open from 09:15 to 10:00. There is no change to the departure time from St Mary’s at 16:30 (Check-in will be open from 15:15 to 16:00) A day trip weather advisory has been issued for this date and it may be an uncomfortable journey. Day trip passengers are advised that this crossing is not suitable for a day trip as the journey may also take longer than normal due to forecast weather/sea conditions. Due to forecast weather and tidal conditions for Thursday, the Scillonian will now depart at the following revised times: Departing Penzance at  08:00. Check-in will be open from 06:45 to 07:30. Scillonian Weather Advisory for Monday 17th September 2018

Due to forecast weather and tidal conditions for Monday afternoon, the Scillonian sailing from St. Mary’s has been altered to the earlier time of 14:30. Check-in will be open from 13:15 to 14:00. Passengers who have booked a day trip for Monday 17th September may change to an alternative date, free of charge or cancel with a full refund of the fare paid. Skybus weather advisory for Tuesday 11th September 2018

The weather forecast for Tuesday 11th September is indicating a high probability of low cloud and reduced visibility at St. Mary’s, Land’s End and Newquay airports, during the afternoon which may cause disruption to Skybus flights. Although no flights have been cancelled at this time, passengers booked to travel with Skybus on Tuesday afternoon may transfer to a flight on a different date, free of charge where space allows. Passengers are advised to contact Skybus Operations on 01736 785233 to discuss their options.  

Scillonian III Double Sailing- Sunday 2nd September 2018

Scillonian III will be operating a double sailing to accommodate Skybus’ passengers due to fly on Saturday’s (1st) due to potential flight disruption. Scillonian will operate an amended scheduled on Sunday 2nd September as follows: Depart Penzance 06:30, arrive St. Mary's, Isles of Scilly, approx. 09:15 Check in closes 06:00   Depart St Mary's 10:00, arrive Penzance approx. 12:45 Check in closes 09:30   Depart Penzance 13:30, arrive St. Mary's, Isles of Scilly, approx. 16:15 Check in closes 13:00   Depart St Mary's 17:00 arrive Penzance approx. 19:45 Check in closes 16:30

Day Trip Passengers

All pre-booked Scillonian Day Trip passengers have been automatically re-booked onto the 06:30 & 17.00 departures. Passengers travelling from St Mary’s to Penzance All pre-booked Scillonian passengers departing St Mary’s have been automatically booked on to the 17:00 departure.

Passengers travelling from Penzance to St Mary’s

All pre-booked Scillonian passengers departing Penzance have been automatically booked onto the 13:30 departure. Pre-booked Scillonian passengers may transfer to an alternative sailing where space allows free of charge or cancel with a full refund of the fare paid. If any passengers leaving St Mary’s have any enquiries on Sunday, please visit Scillonian check-in on St Mary’s Quay between 08.30 and 09.30.

Please Note: Luggage Transfers for Sunday 2nd September

Luggage transfer from Island Carriers and Richard Hand will only be available for passengers sailing on the 13.30 departure from Penzance.  This will be for delivery to accommodation only.
