For more than 100 years, the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company has served the needs of the Isles of Scilly.
If you live in West Cornwall, you’ll likely have seen the familiar and comforting sight of the Scillonian III sailing to and from the islands between March and November.
You may also have seen the trusty Gry Maritha taking vital supplies to the islands year-round, come hellish weather or high water with much of the onboard freight being supplied by local companies based in locations throughout West Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
Or even heard our planes overhead as they fly passengers, mail, medical supplies and patients attending hospital appointments, to and from Land’s End, Newquay, Exeter and St Mary’s.
At this time of year, the work done by our brilliant teams comes into sharp focus as we transfer passengers, freight and mail to their destinations.
We’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of them for the excellent job they do.
