Gry Maritha entered Penzance Dry Dock on Sunday 15th October for its 6 monthly refit including bottom and tail-shaft surveys with plans to return to service on Monday 30th October.

During the tail-shafts survey, the port tail-shaft was found to be slightly damaged with essential repair required. The port tail-shaft was removed on Friday 20th October and sent away for assessment and repair.  The repaired port tail-shaft is scheduled to be refitted over the weekend with sea trials scheduled for Monday 30th October.

Unfortunately, this means that Gry Maritha will not be able to return to service on Monday 30th October as planned.

There will be ambient freight and limited chilled capacity on Scillonian III on Monday 30th October.  This will need to be booked in no later than 15:00 on Friday 27th October and deliveries will be required on the Lighthouse Quay between 06:00 and 07:30 on Monday morning.

We would like to assure you that we are doing all we can to minimise disruption to our freight services.
