Gry Maritha entered Penzance Dry Dock on Sunday 15th October for its 6 monthly refit including bottom and tail-shaft surveys with plans to return to service on Monday 30th October.
During the tail-shafts survey, the port tail-shaft was found to be slightly damaged with essential repairs required. The port tail-shaft was removed on Friday 20th October and sent away for assessment and repair. Unfortunately, there has been a delay in refitting the repaired tail shaft, so the following changes to the freight schedule will be implemented.
Scillonian III will do an additional sailing on Tuesday 31st October, departing Penzance Quay at 10:00am. We will be accepting freight and a limited amount of chilled goods.
For goods required to travel on Tuesday’s sailing, please book in with the freight office by 15:00 on Monday 30th October and deliver to Penzance quay between 07:00 – 08:30 on Tuesday 31st October.
