The repair to the starboard tail shaft and propeller is progressing well and it is anticipated that the tail shaft assembly will be ready for refitting on Tuesday 21st February.
Gry Maritha is booked to drydock at Penzance Dry Dock on the evening tide of Monday 20th February. Installation of the tail shaft assembly will commence on Tuesday 21st February and we anticipate all associated work to be compete in time for undocking on the evening tide of Wednesday 22nd February.
Gry Maritha will resume operation on completion of the repair work and we intend to sail on the following dates:
- Monday 20th February – No Sailing.
- Tuesday 21st February – No Sailing.
- Wednesday 22nd February – No Sailing.
- Thursday 23rd February – Departing Penzance at 17:00 for St. Mary’s.
- Friday 24th February – Departing St. Mary’s at 09:30 for Penzance.
- Saturday 25th February – Departing Penzance at 18:00 for St. Mary’s.
- Sunday 26th February – Departing St. Mary’s at 09:00 for Penzance.
Scheduled sailings will resume to normal from week commencing 27th February 2023. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused, and we are working on additional sailings to clear some of the backlog that has occurred during this unexpected mechanical issue.
Please Note: Regrettably, chilled, frozen and perishable freight booked for Monday 20th and Wednesday 22nd February 2023 will need to be cancelled and rebooked onto the next available sailing. This will be Thursday 23rd February between the hours of 08:00-10:00.
We will except all general freight already booked on Monday 20th, Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd February as normal.
We will also be accepting Chilled, Frozen and perishables on Saturday (25th) morning between 08:00 – 10:00. This must be booked by 15:00 on Friday (24th).
