Due to the predicted poor weather conditions, the Scillonian III’s Master has issued a weather advisory for Thursday May 20th and Friday May 21st.

The sailing on Thursday May 20th has been brought forward. The new departure time from Penzance is 08:00. Check-in will be open between 06:45 and 07:30. The departure from St Mary’s to Penzance remains unchanged at 16:30. Check-in will be open between 15:15 and 16:00.

Passengers do not need a new ticket and do not need to contact us unless the new sailing time is inconvenient. Thursday’s sailing will be uncomfortable and take longer than normal, therefore passengers wishing to travel on Wednesday instead can transfer free of charge.

Passengers travelling on Friday May 21st are advised the sailing is likely to be very uncomfortable due to high winds and the predicted sea conditions.

Please be advised that both sailings (Thursday May 20th and Friday May 21st) are no longer suitable for day trips as the crossing is expected to take longer than normal. A member of our Travel Centre team will contact day trip passengers to offer a transfer or full refund.

Our phone lines are extremely busy and we kindly ask that you call back at a later time if your query doesn’t relate to travel over the next three days.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding. Please contact our Travel Centre on 01736 334220 for further assistance.
