HOLIDAY INSURANCE

This holiday insurance policy includes cover if you receive a positive COVID-19 diagnosis within 14-days of your scheduled departure date or and have to cancel your trip. Cover also includes additional accommodation, repatriation and travel expenses if you are diagnosed with COVID-19 during your trip.

Full details of these circumstances, levels of cover and terms and conditions can be found in the policy booklet. You may already possess alternative insurance(s) for some or all of the features and benefits provided by this product: it is your responsibility to investigate this.

Our travel insurance is arranged by Towergate Travel and underwritten by ERGO Travel Services Ltd (ETI) on behalf of Great Lakes Insurance SE (GLISE).  Isles of Scilly Steamship Company Limited is an Appointed Representative of ITC Compliance Limited who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and which is permitted to advise on and arrange general insurance contracts.

DEMANDS AND NEEDS

This insurance policy will suit the demands and needs of an individual or group (where applicable) who:

  • have no excluded pre-existing medical conditions
  • are travelling in countries included within the policy terms
  • wish to insure themselves against unforeseen events detailed in the cover section below. Subject to the terms, conditions and maximum specified claim limits.

IMPORTANT

We will not provide you with advice about the suitability of this product for your individual needs but will be happy to provide you with factual information to aid you in making your own informed buying decision.

Your residency, health conditions, changes in health and individual needs must be considered to confirm your suitability for this policy.  Please read the document below on the policy suitability and limitations.

Please note: You will be covered to travel under this policy as long as the insured is not travelling:

  • during a Government imposed lockdown, or
  • when the FCDO have advised against, or
  • when the FCDO have advised against all travel and all but essential travel

Prices quoted are per adult. Children (aged 2-15) are half price under the general insurance policy and infants (under 2) are covered under the accompanying adult policy. Prices include IPT (Insurance Premium Tax)

DELAY POLICY

The rates for the 2021 policies are:

Delay Single £9.75 both adult and child are the same
Delay Return £15.95 both adult and child are the same

COOLING OFF PERIOD

Examples of these and other conditions and exclusions are contained within the policy wording, a specimen copy of which is available upon request. If after purchasing a policy from us should you find it does not meet your requirements, you have 14 days from the date of receipt of the policy documents or before departure, whichever is less, to cancel the policy and receive a full refund of your premium.
